- Cost of living:
The average cost of studying at the University of Münster is around 700-900€ a month. Though many international students supplement their income with a part time job, this should not be counted on as a main source of financial aid. More information on financing your education is available from the International Office. - Start of term:
Classes at the University of Münster usually begin during the first two weeks of October (winter semester) and in the first two weeks of April (summer semester).
We recommend that you arrive early! This will give you time to meet other students, familiarise yourself with Münster and take care of any other matters before your classes begin. Dates - Admission:

Though most of the faculty and students at the University of Münster know English to some extent, many important documents, forms, titles and courses are only available in German. We recommend that you take some time to familiarise yourself with the German language, which will help you with both your studies and life in the city. Language centre - Registration and Disenrolment:
Registration dates are indicated on your admission documents.
For registration, you will need two passport photos, proof of health insurance and approximately 210€ for the facility fee.
