Watch Region1 DVDs in the SAC
We have just received an external Region1 DVD drive which you can now borrow from the supervisor to watch Region1 (USA, Canada, US-territories, Bermuda) DVDs. The computer which is connected to the projector will have a functioning internal Region1 DVD drive soon.

Update
The SAC has been equipped with 20 new workstations. These workstations run on:
- AMD Phenom Quad-Core Processors 2,3GHz, 2GB RAM, 19" flatscreens
- Operating System: Windows Vista SP2 (this is necessary to ensure a smooth update to Windows 7)
- Microsoft Office 2007 and OpenOffice 3
You will find our usual software offer available, already. The SAC-specific software will be implemented in the system in the near future. You can also expect a new printing system in the SAC which will make use of a xerox-copying machine where you can pay with your "Mensa-Karte". As soon as it gets delivered it will be installed and made available to you. Until then we are not able to provide printing services to you.
