Wilhelms-Universität Münster The Centre for Aldous Huxley Studies (CAHS) was approved of and founded as a research centre by the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (University of Münster) in spring 1998 and is part of the Department of English. It functions as a base and vehicle for the activities of the international Aldous Huxley Society (AHS). The main tasks of the Centre for Aldous Huxley Studies are the following:
The Centre for Aldous Huxley Studies is housed in rooms Nos. 322 and 322 at the Department of English, Johannisstrasse 12-20 (3rd floor), Münster, and is headed by Prof. Dr. Bernfried Nugel in his capacity as member of the English Faculty of the Fachbereich 9 - Philologie (University of Münster). It is open to Huxley experts as well as to a wider public by previous arrangement and provides current information on its activities and new developments in Huxley research and Huxleyana.
