The EDG moved to a new rehearsing-room and started working on St. Joan by G.B. Shaw. We are in the final stage of rehearsing a new play. Mike Bartlett's original work "Earthquakes in London" features multi-angle perspectives, songs, dances and lots of fun. It is the answer to the question: "How can you make a play about the effects of climate change exciting and entertaining. The premiere will be on November 3rd! For more than 36 years the Studiobühne has been a home for the English Drama Group. But in the nearer future the Studiobühne will be dismantled and rebulid. For the time inbetween we will find new places to act and rehearse. As a little Good Bye we have choosen a play that has changes at its core. "Compleat Female Stage Beauty" is a comedy about the theatre in the time of the English restoration. So, come and see the English Drama Group for the last time at the Studiobühne Domplatz 23 at the 5th, 10th, 11th and 12th of February 2012. 8PM. Except for Saturday the 11th. On that day we start at 7:15 |

We are going to repeat last year's Sketch-Show with some interesting variations. "Captain Kirks Last Farewell to the Final Frontier - Redux" is opening on the 24th of June. Have fun on the 24th, 25th, 26th and on thursday the 30th and be welcome at the Studiobühne. |

To give us all a fresh start into the new year, the EDG is going to perform a new play by Dennis Kelly. As the title suggests "Love and Money" is about two mighty principles in our society. So, reserve some time in your busy schedule and watch "Love and Money" on the 15 / 16 / 20 / 27 / 28 or 29 Jan. 2011 at the Studiobühne 08:15 PM.

Merry Christmas!
Just at the dawn of 2009 we release new informations about our current Project. we are very busy rehearsing Shakespeare, which is a bigger task then we thought at the beginning. But we know our responsibillitiy towards our Audience and will be having a really thrilling show of Titus Andronicus in June.
